There was a day when home schooling was virtually unheard of. Stay at home moms (SAHMs) were at home with kids all day, but they were moms, not teachers. Home study schools are a very sheltered environment where children are safe from all kinds of dangers, embarrassments and confrontations that occur on a daily basis in a traditional school.
